With the trek 217 rain fly extending completely to the ground you get a truly exceptionaly dry back packing dome tent! With the two peak large rain fly and double ridges allows you to have the windows part way open when it rains so you can still have cross ventilation. You can not believe how nice this is on hot days! This feature is great when the weather is bad and your stuck inside! This trek dome tent has one large screened window with storm flaps that zipper from the inside. All the screen's are made of no-see-um fine mesh for protection from insect's. The same with the convenient "D" shaped front door and window combo. The four 7.5 mm fiberglass poles are jointed. The tent features 100% clip pole design. What this means is that you can assemble the poles and clip the tent to it! And with the ring and pin pole assembly you can move the tent where you want it before you stake it down! This makes this a very fast and easy dome tent to set up! The trek 80x106 dome tent is made of high count nylon taffeta walls. The rain fly is made of the same material. But coated and treated to 1500 mm hydrostatic for exceptional water repellency! The floor is made of rip stop woven polyethylene material. The Trek 217 is fire retarded to meet CPAI-84 standards and comes complete with poles, stakes and a carry bag too! All these great features and it only weights only 7 pounds!
