It is designed to be an exceptionally stable back packing tent with a full fly that allows for external storage. The full 7' by 7' floor allows for a total of 14 plus square foot of sleeping area. Just think of the all the extra room with only two people sleeping in it. This dome tent can be assembled with out being stakes down because of the ring and pin design. Comes with two shock corded aluminum poles and short pole sleeves with clip design for easy setup! All the seams are taped to seal the needle holes for greater waterproofing. The Trek 216XT Tent is made of 190T nylon including the walls and the bathtub style floor. The fly is made of a high quality double water repellent nylon! It attaches with adjustable webbing and side release buckles for fast and easy installation. The one screen door have an inside zippered storm flap. This backpacking tent also has two windows and a roof star viewing screen. All screens are made of no-see-um mesh. The trek tent model 216xt is fire retarded to meet CPAI-84 regulations. It comes complete with storage bag, two poles and stakes. All this and it only weights 5.5 pounds for easy packing! This is a very high quality four season camping tent!
