Trek's 226 is a truly an exceptional four season geo dome pack tent that come with a long oxford rain fly and a extra large zip off vestibule too! The vestibule is apex. 4 ft long it's great for extra storage out of the weather. This 4 season trek geo dome tent has two large screened convenient "D" shaped doors with storm flaps that zipper from the inside. All the screen's are made of no-see-um fine mesh for protection from insect's. The back door has a supported by two small poles awning hood that sticks out apex. 18 inches. This tent doe's not have any windows. The two doors act as windows for cross ventilation. The panel pictured on the center of the tent has a gray color with a small green triangular piece for guying out a rope if you want. The Geo Domes body is made of rip stop 190 diner polyester nylon. The floor and rain fly are made of rip stop 210 diner polyester nylon. These materials are hydrostatic tested to 1500 MM for exceptionally better water repellence. All the seams are taped to seal all the sewing assembly holes. This offers even better water proofing! To make this model 226 a truly four season tent. The inside offers a gear loft and four sewn in convenience pockets for even more storage! The pockets are great for safe keeping your sun or eye glasses and anything else that may be damaged by laying on the floor! Just think how you can use the loft too! The fiberglass poles are shock corded, sturdy and jointed. The main poles are 11 MM dia. and the smaller one are 9 mm dia. The tent features sleeve and clip pole design. What this means is that you assemble the poles and clip the tent to it! And with the ring and pin pole assembly you can move the tent where you want it before you stake it down! Buckle system of the rain fly. This makes this a very fast and easy geo dome tent to set up! The Trek 226 is fire retarded to meet CPAI-84 standards and comes complete with poles, stakes and a carry bag too! It weights only 17 pounds compleat!
