This trek tent features true vertical side walls with a side height of 48 inch's. It provides the most square cubic feet of livable camping room of any style tent! To live and walk around in comfort. This is really important when your stuck inside due to bad weather. Just think of the room your kids can play in. The three oversized screen windows and the wide screened door feature inside zippered storm flaps. The door is zippered down the center and across the bottom of both side's for easy entry and exit. The thick walled 1 inch dia. chain linked metal poles are plated to resist rust. This straight wall tent also has strong elastic bungee cord side ridge pole loops that act as shock absorbers when attached to the poles in strong wind and rain. The top of the roof has a sleeve tunnel ridge that assures a non sag roof. The side's have extra strong eaves support loops on top and the same type of loops for staking down you camping tent. The wall tent is constructed of heavy duty cotton poly canvas weighing approx. eight ounce's per square yard. It is treated for maximum water repellence. The floor is made of rugged vinyl coated fabric for longer wearing service and to resist tearing and punctures! This straight wall canvas 9x12 model 245 tent and rain fly combo comes complete with instructions poles , stakes and a storage bag too! This 9x12 cabin tent is fire retarded to meet CPAI-84 standards. The current color is tan with a white roof. But this can change at any time. With the combo you also get the rain fly model 246rf too. The rain fly is made of 75 denier 185 count polyester with a u.v. resistant silver reflective coating and 1000 mm hydrostatic treated too!! * If your using sleeping cots it will work with up to four cots! But it has more room with three cots. This leaves the center open for a small picnic table or a play space. I have been using an older and bigger style of this model of straight wall tent since 1993 for hunting and camping here in Colorado. This tent will stand up to the Colorado weather which is really hard on tents. I have used this tent in three feet of snow for two weeks with no trouble!! Just make sure you fully dry the canvas tent before you store it. This is a really great straight wall canvas tent for your extended camping trips!! | ||||||
